MOBY'S TIPS: How often should you bathe your dog?
If your dog likes to roll in dirt and who-knows-what other dirty things in the big outside, they're probably used to bath time after each adventure. But if your dog is more of the clean type, no mess no dirt, how often should you bathe your dog? They may not look dirty but an occasional bath is important for their health and coat.

At least once every three months is the minimum to keep your dog's coat healthy. Generally, once a month works for most dogs. The frequency also depends on your dog's coat type, skin needs, and environment. Some dogs are stinkier or oilier than others and may need more baths. Some dogs have skin conditions that require extra care and attention.

You can bathe your dog once a week at most. Be careful not to bathe them more than that unless advised by your Vet. Bathing your dog more than really necessary can lead to loss of natural oils in their coat.

Their coat can become too dry with strong shampoos and over bathing can disturb their coat's natural strength and functions. The best way to tell when they need a bath is to sniff sniff! A not-so-stinky pooch makes for an enjoyable companion. More cuddles and smooches keeps pooches happy.
